1. Life changes, people change, he changed and so have you.
Perhaps the worst part of a relationship - one that stood for a couple of months and maybe even years, is that we change. One day we just realize that we're not the same person we were a year or two years ago. Gone is that wonderfully funny, carefree guy and in is the serious, moody type. Can we please go start working on that time machine?
Seriously, if you talk about the weather ONE more time, I will not hold myself accountable for my actions!
3. You'll both eventually get lazy... about appearance, conversation and entertainment.
"Wanna go out?" "No, lets just stay in today." x10
4. Knowing that one person can effect you so deeply.
If they're happy, you're happy. And if they're being a pain in the ass; well, then your mood will be affected accordingly. There's a direct correlation between your moods. And its commonly agreed that loved ones are the only people that can really hurt you. Such power. Much scare. Wow.
5. Having to spend time with your boyfriend's friends & family...even if you hate them.
Let he who hasn't experienced the mother/father in law from hell cast the first stone.
~ and now for the less serious stuff........ ~
6. The cheesy-mushiness of some couples.
7. When couples start doing EVERYTHING together, and then they start matching clothes...
Really! Some couples are known to morph into one person!
8. When all couples can talk about is themselves and their relationship.
I'm a great listener, but gimme a break here.
9. When couples disappear off the map.
Most people have had a good friend who all of a sudden dropped off the map after they got into a serious relationship. This happens often. Sad reality.
10. Couples think that every event HAS to be couples only.
.....and that's how friends are lost (&& gained, i guess)
I like this GIF, even tho it makes no sense here :) |
